Fennel is a multi purpose plant, here I list some of their properties to take into account in our daily diet:
- It is ideal for digestion because it reduces flatulence and belching
- Anti-spasmodic especially its seeds that relieve colic and intestinal cramps. a teaspoon of juice per day is recommended.
- Very rich in potassium, it helps prevent and regulate blood pressure. A serving of cooked fennel 200g per day meets between 20 and 30% of potassium needs of an adult.
